Labor Day has passed, and the final numbers are in for the 2026 Ice Cream Contest between OUT CHICAGO and AROUND THE TOWN CHICAGO
In total, Windy City Sweets scooped up 2,562 scoops of the four flavors selected by the hosts of these programs:
The donation that will be presented to Special Gifts Theatre is $640.50
and here is how it worked out:
In first place with 764 scoops: Bake Shop ( Al Bresloff’s pick)
Second place with628 scoops: Oreo Cheesecake ( Scott Duff’s pick)
Third place, with 595 scoops: Rush Hour ( Ellen Miller’s pick)
Fourth place with 575 scoops: Windy City Fudge ( Frank Meccia’s pick)
