A Little “sunshine” with my massgae!

Many of you have read about or heard about my Salt Cave adventures, including the very first massage. You know that my fears were of the unknown, and once I got on the table and Olga did her magic, my fear was gone. In fact, I fell asleep. That’s how relaxed I became.

Now I look forward to that weekly trip to the Harmony Salt Cave in Buffalo Grove. It has been around a year, and I often arrive early so I can relax in their Hand & Foot Salty Detox Room, where I find my tension disappearing as i place my hands and feet on the warm Himalayan salt blocks. From time to time, I look at the room next door to the Massage Room  where the Infrared Sauna sits. Do I have the nerve to try that as well? Each week, I ask about it and question myself for doing so.

This week was my birthday week, so I decided to take that next step. I figured I would do this with a short session ( 15 minutes) and found myself in the sauna, where I was warm, but I felt my circulation improve and my legs felt better, and while it was warm, it was not hard to relax and enjoy the music and silence as I was able to just relax, meditate, and prepare my mind for the weekly massage.

From the Sauna, I went to the Detox room for about 10 minutes, then on to my massage, which was even better than before. I think this combination is the perfect way to relax and renew, and from my perspective (and experience), Harmony Salt Cave, located at 765 S. Buffalo Grove Road, is THE place.
