The GLASA Chicago Bears Wheelchair Football Team Heads to Season Championship Game
on November 23 in Kansas City, MO
WHAT: The Great Lake Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) Chicago Bears Wheelchair Football Team will compete in the USA Wheelchair Football League (USAWFL) season championship match on Saturday, November 23, at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, MO.
The GLASA Chicago Bears Wheelchair Football Team, a founding member of the League, will take on the Kansas City Chiefs Wheelchair Football Team. This is the first time the GLASA Chicago Bears Wheelchair Football Team has made it to this momentous game.

WHO: The GLASA team of 20 is made up of injured military veterans and amputees. The game is 7-on-7 played with pads and helmets during the matchups.
The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has been based in the Chicagoland community for 25 years. GLASA provides a continuum of 20+ developmental to elite level adaptive sports locally while also providing programming and competitions to serve athletes in more than thirty states.
