Around the town Chicago goes “live”

For all of you who read my reviews, and have over the years, Thank you! Now, I am ready to be “heard”, live on am radio. Yes, starting in January 2019, Around The Town Chicago will be a regular feature show on WCPT 820 Chicago. I will take to the air waves on January 6th, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.. Just tune your am radio dial to 820. With guest hosts, we will talk theater and dining as well as cabaret and the Greater Chicagoland area. From time to time, we will go “remote”, which means away from the studio at a theater, a restaurant or perhaps a special event. Sound exciting?

You bet! I am anxious to have Chicago actors come on and discuss theater. We will talk about the Jeff Awards and other special parts of the Chicago theater scene. Of course, my reviews will be featured, and so will shows that are coming. With the assistance of the theaters in our area, we will do call- in contests where tickets will be given out to winners. In fact, sometimes we will just do call-ins to award tickets or dining gift cards ( to restaurants I review). I may even have some other “goodies” to give away.

My show will be filled with entertainment news, funny stories and performers telling us why they chose to live their lives. I look forward to having you listen to my show and call in. From time to time, we may have to do a taped show, but it is my intent to stay “live” from Chicago as often as possible.
