EPIPHANY CENTER FOR THE ARTS PRESENTS:
A JOAN COLLASO PRODUCTION
TIMELESS! A MUSICAL REVIEW
Reviewed by: Frank Meccia

I DO LOVE GOING TO A NEW VENUE TO SEE TALENTED YOUNG PEOPLE. This was my first time going to the Epiphany Center for the Arts. It used to be a church, until it was sold 5 years ago and turned into a multipurpose Center for the Arts and a great place for social functions also. TIMELESS! A Musical Revue is a high energy musical. In this riveting, 4-night theater event it highlights the many contributions and the evolution of African Americans in television, film and theater.
Timeless Gifts is proud to present a cast of yet to be discovered, and highly talented youth and young adults, many of whom are truly incredible. The entire production was produced and directed by the very talented and icon of Chicago Joan Collaso, they gave highlights of such great shows as”The Wiz”, “Porgy and Bess”, “Hamilton”, “Dreamgirls”, and others. Great costumes helped the young people to get into their roles. It was  a nice mix of very young to teenagers and young adults.

The Epiphany Center for the Arts is located at 201 S. Ashland Ave, the new westside, easy parking, and the whole area has gone through a great renovation. Tickets are $25, $30 at the door, Premium seating is $40.00 Doors open at 5pm, check out the entire center and the bar and food area. Upcoming dates are July 18th and 19th.
