“Zoom Casts”

Want to hear a reading of a movie favorite? You can on Facebook. Thanks t Kevin Pollack and a host of area performers, the show will go on. This week-end I was asked to hang up my keyboard and get out my make-up kit ( just an expression) so I could join the talented cast of  “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”, a ZOOM reading.

I was able to spend some time working with talents like George Keating (Clark), Lizzie Larsen ( Ellen), Madison Moretti ( Audrey) and Zane Carey ( Rusty). The whole movie cast was on the computer. By The Way- I played Clark Senior. Pollack handled the narration as we did a reading of an adjusted script of the film. I would love to see ( and maybe even be in) more of these. While many of us are not at the theater nightly, and getting tireed of TV, it is nice to do something and be part of something that is special and can be enjoyed by those who are missing audience participation. A Tip of the hat to Ken Rubenstein as Uncle Lewis. Some of the other actors had costumes and props as well.
