The Epiphany Project

What is “The Epiphany Project?  It is a very special program designed to assist the members of both the BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities to present scripts for potential film features or shorts to win scholarship funding. This brand new project has been seeded by Chicago Fore star , Joe Minoso. There are two scholarships- $2,500 for feature length script and $500 for short.

Once the winners are chosen, Mass Epiphany Studios will assist in development of same.

On the website, they say “don’t worry about formatting, and don’t be concerned with what you need to know to sell the script”. They are in place to assist you. Minoso has help from other performers, Full Spectrum Features and The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Events.. Their main goal is to recognize the artistic talents in Cgicago ( and the Midwest). They want to create a core bases of diverse storytellers defined by “inclusitivity and acceptance without fear or feeling that you are not enough to represent your culture”.
