“Home for the Holidays”-

Chicago theater lovers, who miss the Blue Man Group are in for a special treat. The Blue Men are coming back with a whole new show in a different theater that will once again bring the energy to our city. I had the good fortune of speaking with the Artistic Director, Matt Ramsey as we talked about the Blue Man Group coming back to town for the holidays with their new production.

While it is geared for the holidays, it is still an entertainment experience for kids of all ages. There are no language barriers and they will get the audience involved. Unlike the original, the front rows are safe and don’t require rain gear, but the music, paint, and, of course, marshmallows are all part of the program. The Blue Men will also get audience members involved- after all that is part of the fun.

Here is the interview:

This brand new production will feauture classic holiday music performed on Blue Man Group’s iconic custom instruments while following the Blue Men as they discover the traditions, rituals and joyful absurdities of the holidays while exploring their themes of creativity, generosity, and of greatest importance, human connection.
