**** Pleasantly Terrifying!

It’s easy to see how the movies can use sound and shock to scare the audience, but how can a live theater production do the same? Paranormal Activity playing at Chicago Shakes does just that and more! From the moment you enter the auditorium you may or may not notice that the scene is being set for the frightful moments to come.

Amazing staging, stunning special effects that have the audience gasping and applauding with appreciation for the incredible effects.

It truly feels like watching a classic horror movie in the theater but these effects take place before your very eyes. I left the theater a bit nervous about walking into the garage, heading out into the night….the perfect feelings to have after a very well done production.

I have never seen anything like this on the Chicago Shakes stage before and for that matter, on any Chicago stage. It’s stunning….keeping you on the edge of your seat….and just plain a ton of fun!

This production is Not normal activity on the stage…..it is clearly paranormal…and you have to see it for yourself. If you like horror films and haunted houses….then Paranormal Activity is a MUST- SEE for you….if you aren’t afraid to keep your eyes open!!
