Those of you who listened to last Sunday’s radio broadcast ( which is available online where it says radio live), know that we had John Manchester ( the Candy Man) and his wife, Jill , on the program to talk about their new ability to create cookies with photos on them. Personalized cookies that were used as part of this year’s Academy Awards and as a fund raiser for Anti Cruelty with a contests between Paul and Steve ( from another network).
With an event coming up, I asked John to do some special cookies- he did and in plenty of time to make sure we would be able to give them to our grandkids in a timely fashion.
Two of the photos you are seeing are individual cookies encased in a plastic wrap.
The ones for Sarah are in a plastic box ( 6 cookies in a container) so tonight, as we greet her after her performance at GBS of “Chicago, the Musical”, she will be hand delivered these very tasty cookies. Not only will she be thrilled at something so special, when she bites in the cookie, she will understand the mentality of one of her childhood heroes, COOKIE MONSTER!
