Last Wednesday I met with the four stars of “Middletown” at The Apollo in Chicago. They had just finished an afternoon show and we relaxed in the “green room” as we talked about the production and their experience in doing this very emotional play about life, love and relationships.
My review is up at http://www.aroundthetownchicago.com and we have talked about the play on my radio show on WCPT 820 am on Sundays at 2 p.m.
Since they do a performance on Sunday at 2 p.m., they were unable to come to the station, or for that matter, even call in, so, I took myself to the theater and met with them in person. This Sunday’s show March 15th will feature the interview.
My thanks to this outstanding group on actors:
Sandy Duncan
Adrian Zmed
Kate Buddeke
Donny Most
Spending some time with these talents was highly enjoyable
as was the performance of this powerful, funny and sad story.
You can catch it thru the 22nd at The Apollo Theater Chicago , 2450 N. Lincoln Avenue, call 773-935-6100 or online at http://www.apollochicago.com
Tickets are $45. Worth the trip!
