****  Everyone is familiar with The Grinch. We all remember the interesting story of the Who’s. But how many recall Cindy Lou and have been wondering “Whatever became of her?”. “Who’s Holiday!” is a wildly funny and VERY adults-only comedy that tells the story of Cindy Lou Who as she recalls that Christmas Eve she first met the Grinch and the twisted turn of events her life has now taken. Written by Matthew Lombardo, in full “rhyme” format, this is an amazing 65 minutes of story-telling, audience immersion, and some very ADULT humor ( and language).

I recall seeing this piece several years ago, and although I remembered some of it, under the sharp direction of Christopher Pazernik, Veronica Garza truly makes this a fun break during these hectic days of holiday shopping and preparation. Try to imagine being in a trailer park, and peering into the home of Cindy Lou. It is the night of her big party to welcome all her freinds for the holidays. Little by little, we find that they are not coming, and that she is no longer part of their lives.

Turns out her marriage to the Grinch and the birth of their daughter Patty, was too much for her parents and the residents of Who. Garza sparkles with her ability to rhyme and her timing is sensational. When she plays off the audience, offering them a drink, snacks and more, they fit right in and her singing shows the facets of her talent. She is a comin ( with perfect timing), and even a small gesture eon her part, grabs the audience into her story. It is a sad, but hilarious tale of how life can change just by one taking the low road over the high road.

If you are in need of a true “pick-me-up” and some laughter, this is the place to find it. By the way, the bar is open, so get a drink and make it even more fun.

The “Who’s Holiday” will continue thru Dec 29th with performances as follows:
