Recommended *** How many times have you gone to a magic show determined to figure it out? How many times did you tell yourself, tonight is the night I find the wire, or the card up his sleeve. Well, tonight is not the night! Till Jan 2nd (might be extended) British high-tech Magician Jamie Allen will use combination of 3D projections, and a combination of Technology, Illusion with danger and thrills to present Magic Immersive.
This is a 3-stage exhibit for the whole family. And, yes, bring the kids. The magicians there want to impress and amaze young minds to become future magicians. The first part is the Exhibition area, called the Illusionarium.
A history of magic from the mid 1800’s to present. Each exhibit has the history of that magician and a piece of his show from that era. One of the exhibits is Robert – Houdini’s Marvelous Orange tree ( only 3 are still in the world, and they have it here). They also have Houdini’s water cage, and other great props from the last 150 years.
The second area is the private 30 seat room where special magicians who will perform acts involving the audience. Don’t sit close, you might be picked.
The main event is the auditorium where you are immersed in magic 180* around you. With such great feats as the bullet catch. Or Houdini’s water torture cell, levitations and vanishings acts. One hour of constant high tech 3D projections and some very good-looking magicians. No where else are you going to see a combination of state-of-the-art technology with some great high-tech magic.
Magic Immersive will continue thru New Year’s with performances every hour starting at noon
Sunday- Thursday from noon til 8 p.m.
Fridays and Saturday, noon- 9 p.m.
