The whirl-wind tour includes stops in Brazil for a Carnival parade, Hawaii for a luau with Lilo and Stitch, and Japan for the Sakura cherry blossom festival, along with invitations to a frightfully festive Halloween party with Jack Skellington and his Disney Villain friends, and a lavish Valentine’s Day Ball with the Disney Princesses.

United Center from Jan 29 – Feb 9
As is the case, with Children’s performances, my grand kids are the measure for what we see. In this case, now that Adam has “graduated” to as he calls it more “boy” stuff, it is up to the girls to participate and here is what Sarah ( our five year old) and Rebecca ( the three year old) said.
They felt that this was the best of all the Disney On Ice shows they have seen “over the years” ( it is always funny to hear a youngster use these words, like they have a lot of years.Sarah was impressed by the “Toy Story” characters, but the New Orleans “trip” and then off to China, were highlights for her. Rebecca, who loves Mickey and Minnie thought the Princesses were the ‘specialist” part of the show.
What makes “Disney on Ice” so special is that these are characters that our grandkids ( and for some their kids) have grown up with. In fact, for some of the parents who are bringing their kids for the first time, they recall watching earlier shows and it brings back some fond memories of growing up. Twice a year, The feld Entertainment Company brings these spectacular shows to our venues and the kids anticipate the next one- they know they will enjoy the wonderful skaters who take on these characters, ones that are a part of our lives.
