As discussed on Around The Town on WCPT820 am radio, There are two shows that have been created during the Pandemic of 2020/21 by The Performers School. These are shorter versions of the originals and FYI , in the Les Miz, there is some language that could not be re-written.
Due to the pandemic, and not being able to hold rehearsals as normal, they were forced to become very creative and are now in a position to fully stream a staged “virtual” student musical production that was developed to adhere to all of the strict social distancing practices of the State of Illinois.
This has been a true learning experience for the 26 fourth and fifth graders doing “Beauty and the Beast” and the 40 sixth thru eighth graders doing “Les Miserables”.
The Performers School founders, Liz Fauntleroy and Stacey Flaster found a way to provide these talented youngsters a way to present the plays they were cast in…and in a unique and very special memory for both performer, their family and you the viewer. The film concept being used was created by Peter Marston Sullivan and his McCoy Media. The creation you will see is a breakthrough in technology. Each performer was taped and then Marston’s crew put it all together.
Here are the dates and the ticket info. ENJOY!
