SINGERS

The Skokie Idol is a singing competition open to everyone from 8 to 108, regardless of experience, age, or where you live.

Contestants participate in five weekly performances, Saturday afternoons from Jan 24 to Feb 21 (with a snow date on Feb 28). For the first week, you can sing any song you like. After that, we will assign a style for the week.

You only need to perform in four of the five weeks to be considered for the semi-finals. If you participate in all five weeks, only your four highest scores will count.

Singers are eligible to win weekly prizes. The Skokie Idol winner will receive a cash prize and a live concert appearance.

AUDIENCE

Join us every Saturday at 1 pm and enjoy an afternoon of live music for only $5. Every week is another style from Jazz to Pop to Broadway to Who Knows? There’s something different every week along with great prizes for our audience members too.

The singers will depend on your votes to move on to the final rounds. Come choose the next Skokie Idol.
