Perry’s Steakhouse is now ON LINE

Highly Recommended ***** We have enjoyed our visits to Oakbrook and the Perry’s Steakhouse & Grill in the shopping center, and are looking forward to later this month, when they open their second Chicagoland location in Schaumburg at 1780 E. Golf Road ( route 58), but meanwhile, tonight we tasted their fabulous “seven-finger-high-pork-chop at HOME! Yes, they have launched an online Market that allows people from around the United States to  “Chop Online by ordering from https://shop.perryssteakhouse.com. Right now, they are offering complimentary handling and insulated packaging on all orders.

Let me explain just how simple the process is. The carton arrived and when we opened it up, inside was a styro-foam container. In the container, several ice packets surrounding a box that contained one of their famous pork chops and a container of their special “butter” along with the cooking instructions for either microwave or oven cooking. I am sure that BBQ is possible, but since it was a brisk and rainy night, we opted for the oven. The pork chop was sealed, and we were instructed to unpack and let it thaw. Wheit was thawed, we cut away the plastic that contained the beautiful pork chop and placed on the foil. We added two tablespoons of water and formed the foil into a cone so that the flavor would stay in the cone. The oven had been pre-heated to 350 degrees and we placed the cone into the oven for 45 minutes.

When the 45 minutes were over, we opened the foil and used the special Perry’s steak butter, closed the foil and let sit for five minutes. This allows the flavors to blend to perfection. That it was! We are not near the chefs that we have had do Pork Chops for us in Oakbrook, but I must tell you, we were overjoyed with this treat on a cold Thursday night in Wheeling Illinois. The online menu is unique when it comes to this treat. You can order this special pork chop at $49 or better yet, two for $95.00.

There is also the “lunch” cut ( about half the size) at two for $49 or four for $95. Either option includes free handling and insulated packaging.

FYI- these pork chops are fully cooked and frozen, with ice packs and separate steak butter container, in addition to thawing and heating instructions.

Just think! You need a gift for someone special in your life. You know they would love a pork chop that is “out of this world”. Now, you can make sure they have a night to remember.
