Well, Chicago is back to the new Normal,
As of June 11th we entered Phase 5 and we are almost back to full normal. A sign of that new normal is the return of the Old Town Art Fair. A staple for Chicago for the past 7 years. Considered one of the top art fairs in the Country. The old town art fail takes place the second weekend in June., in the heart of the charming Old Town Triangle., . This is a hidden gem of the city that only a small community knows about.
The area is surrounded by some of the most architecturally beautiful old homes in Chicago. Over 50 gardens will be in full bloom with displays of historical information about the homes and its residents is a major part of the other part of the program- the Old Town Garden Walk. They are proud of their homes, their gardens, their neighborhood and of greater importance, their city- Chicago!
There will be over 200 artists showing their products, there will also be live music and a food court and a children’s corner. This is a truly family friendly atmosphere, and the Old Town fair is one of the st successful events of the year for artists. Rain or shine gates open at 10m till 7pm. Plenty of parking in the area or at Pipers Alley on North Ave. 1753 North Park Ave. Do not miss it.
Ends Sunday, June 13th. Rain or shine!
This is not the Wells Street Art Fair( which may be back this summer)
