Noche Caribena- a FREE dance and music showcase hits Navy Pier

Noche Caribeña,
a Free Latin-Caribbean Dance and
Music Showcase

Chicago’s popular lakefront
destination joins forces with the Puerto Rican Arts
Alliance
for a Latin-Caribbean fusion,
complete with free dance and music
performances

WHAT:
Navy Pier has teamed up with the Puerto Rican
Arts Alliance (PRAA) to host
Noche Caribeña – a festive evening of
dance, music and cultural expression – on Saturday,
August 11 at 7 p.m. at the Lake Stage in
Polk Bros Park.

This free special concert will
feature music ensembles from the Latin American and
Caribbean diaspora, including Alambre Dulce, Christopher
Rivera (La Voz Kids Puerto Rico Winner) and Conjunto
Borinken.

Over the past 20 years, PRAA has emerged as a primary cultural resource, offering  high-quality, one-of-a-kind arts experiences and arts
education programs to 30,000 participants each year.
Noche Caribeña, a free concert featuring music
ensembles from the Latin American and Caribbean diaspora, is
just one of the many examples of Navy Pier’s
commitment to offering dynamic and eclectic experiences
through partnerships and programs, as outlined
in the organization’s mission and values.
