Magical moments during Covid 19 “stay at home”

We are all getting just a bit “stir crazy” during this historical period of “covid-19”. How about a little magic in our lives? Wouldn’t that be nice?

Thanks to Dennis Watkins, my favorite magician, this is now a reality!

Yes, he is as stir crazy as the rest of us and as an artist sitting around does nothing for him, so his thoughts were to bring a little magic to you via your  computer.

There are two ways to enjoy the magic of Dennis Watkins ( you can read my review of his “Magic Parlour” ( a regular show that sue to the virus has been suspended) here on this site.

Monday night- “Magic Mondays” there will be a posting on the Magic Parlour FACEBOOK PAGE as well as INSTAGRAM.

These posts will teach viewers how they can perform magic with household items. In addition to improving  their skills, they will learn the history and stories behind the magic.

Every other Thursday night, Dennis will host “The Magic Parlour Happy Hour” ( you can watch this Thursday the 16th and then EOW) at 6 p.m. This experience is done via Magic Parlours’s  Facebook LIVE Page of the Facebook page.

These programs are designed to allow you to join award-winning Dennis Watkins ( a third generation magician/mentalist) for a virtual night of magic. He will dazzle you with his sleight of hand, mind reading skills and mind boggling magic.

Enjoy while you can. Once this situation allows normalcy, his amazing “Magic Parlour” will come back to Chicago’s Palmer House where Watkins has dazzled audiences since 2011.
