Help the local theaters

COVID-19 has presented a massive threat to the wellbeing of our entire theatre ecosystem.

But we’re not alone.

We’re in this together, and Chicago is always stronger when we act as an ensemble. That’s why Steppenwolf designed this shirt, why 87 other local theatre companies joined us to promote it, and why we’re putting 100% of proceeds towards supporting the Chicago theatre community. We have partnered with Rowboat Creative and their Creatives Who Care initiative and will be donating all proceeds to The Chicago Theatre Workers Relief Fund, a League of Chicago Theatres initiative which will directly assist theatre workers who have lost work as a result of COVID-19 and are facing financial uncertainty.

So, if you’ve ever seen a show you loved, if you’ve ever connected with a friend at the theater or debated furiously at a post-show discussion, YOU are a part of our ensemble too. And we need you.
