Celebrate with “Balloon Art”

Our world has changed. Many graduates, not having a ceremony, are seeing balloons and banners as well as signs. Family and friends now do “drive-byes” to express their love. We did one for our Granddaughter’s birthday as well. Balloon Art is becoming the “items” and one of the specialists in this art form is Luft Balloons located in Lincoln Park/Old Town  at 345 West Armitage. For this month of June, they are offering some original works to celebrate “Pride Month”* and of greater importance at this time, they are offering balloons that say “Black Lives Matter” which can be picked up at the store for NO CHARGE. Each day, from 2-3 p.m. you are invited to stop by and pick up one of these. With this balloon, you will find notes about Black-Owned businesses to support and a list of educational books on this subject.

Owner/artists Elaine Frei creates her masterpieces throughout Chicagoland and has recently moved to this new location from Logan Square. They also have a “joy Club” designed to spread kindness within communities that are neglected.

Feel free to join her club and spread kindness with her. As a “Santa” that has been spreading joy and happiness for over 50 years, I know that I will be signing up today. Join me!
