Those of you who were lucky enough to see the Marriott production of “Mama Mia”, “Donna and her Dynamos” ( aka Danni Smith, Cassie Slater and Meghan Murphy) became “besties” and when they are not doing other shows, get it together and do a special Cabaret night called “We Three”. They are now moving to their beat at Steppenwolf’s 1700 Theatre located in the complex at 1700 N. Halsted, for TWO NIGHTS ONLY!
This is part of something new and very special in Chicago- Steppenwolf’s Lookout Series. For other upcoming shows visit www.steppenwolftheatre.com, but this is the one that you will NOT want to miss:
Monday and Tuesday, February 26th and 27th
8 p.m.
only $25 per ticket ( a value)
What you are served: Three inseparable musical theater beltresses ( combo: belter and actress). You will laugh from their stories, hear musical numbers the way they were meant to be performed and will understand why Chicago theater buffs follow these ladies wherever they go. I know that Jane and I do.
The ladies will be backed by Matt Deitchman ( MD & keys), Dave Saenger (guitar), Jed Feder ( drums) and Michael Sinclair ( bass).
The venue is 80 seats, very intimate, so call 312-335-1650 or contact the box office mailto:lookout@steppenwolf.orgto make sure you get in.
The 1700 Theatre is our newest theater, a casual, intimate and flexible 80-seat theater dedicated to showcasing the work of our ensemble and emerging local theater companies. The 1700 Theatre is also home to LookOut, our performance series presenting a wide variety of genres and shows, from dance to live music to spoken word and beyond.
Seating note: the furthest row from the stage is comprised of 12 high stools. All other seating is standard chairs.
Lobby & Amenities
The 1700 Theatre is located immediately behind Front Bar: Coffee and Drinks, our 2,500 square ft. café & bar. More than a lobby space, Front Bar is a creative space where guests can grab a drink, have a bite, or meet up with friends and collaborators, day or night.
