The Venus Cabaret Theater is the “sister” to the Mercury Theatre located at 3701 N. Southport Ave.. Many of you have witnessed her in our local theaters, playing roles that she truly stands out in. She has also trioed up with her “Mama Mia” ( Marriott Lincolnshire version) to do Cabaret performances as “We Three” which we adored. Now, bringing her solo show to this marvelous intimate space, you will have an evening that will truly impress you!

Songstress Powerhouse Meghan “Big Red” Murphy has taken the world by storm! With sold out shows in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York City and Europe, this Chicago- based, Jeff Award nominated beltress sings an impressive range of musical genres, accompanied by a glamorous Old Hollywood stage presence and Force-of-Nature-like performance style.From soul to show tunes, laughter to tears, this “sparkling redhead with a dynamite voice,”(Chicago Sun Times), packs a punch and takes you on a ride.
