There is something special about our Navy Pier and how they keep finding new ways to entertain us. Everyone loves a circus and so now, starting February 17th and continuing through the 26th, we will get a chance to enjoy the Windy City Circus- world class aerialists, jugglers and illusionists will take up residence in the “big Top” inside Festival Hall ( anyone who has attended “Winter Wonderfest” knows this marvelous space. What makes this circus so special is that it is being premiered during the 175th birthday of Chicago and lots of special Chicago history will be a part of the festivities.
Produced by David Mass ( who has been a ringmaster with Big Apple Circus) , known for his “World Renowned David and Dania Quick Change” ( along with Moscow Circus veteran Dania Kaseeva Maas) wants this to be the highlight of your family’s winter entertainment and has plans to make it a fisture in Chicago ( probably moving locations).
This is a circus where the audience will be 50 feet from the performers, a rare treat and what makes it even more special is that it is “a circus with a purpose”. a large percentage of the ticket sales will be donated to Ronald McDonald House of Chicago as well as The Care Mobile Program and Special Olympics
The performance schedule is as follows:
Tuesday-Friday 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 11 a.m.,3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m.,2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
