“Summer Santa” as described by Tyler Baldocchi

***** Here we are in July. The weather has been a roller coaster ride, so why not go out to East Dundee and visit Santa’s Village Amusement and Water Park?

My grandkids have outgrown the park for now, so I asked one of my “junior writers”, Tyler Baldocchi ( she does kids’ plays with me), to take the trip out there. Her mom and grandmother went with, and she also invited her friend. Matthew Camp.

Here is what Tyler said: “ We had a great time at Santa’s Village” Matthew and I have rated the rides and attractions based on how we liked them. We spend the entire Saturday there, doing the rides, games and of course the water park. Below you will find some highlights.

FYI- Our rating system is based on ducks- 10 ducks is the highest rating.

The rocket ship ride ( 5 ducks) this one allowed us to control the car.

The fire truck ride ( 6 ducks)- in this one, we get to put out a fire. VERY COOOOL!!

Wacky Worm ( 7.5 ducks) an intermediate roller coaster that allows you to prepare yourself for the larger ones of the future.

Orange Speed Roller Coaster (9.5 ducks) Remember our saying that Wacky Work prepared you for the next level- THIS WAS IT! High-speed thrills. You feel like you’re flying all over the place.

Mega Velocity (12 ducks- yes with 10 being the highest, this ride surpassed anything we could have dreamed) Fast! Super High Thrills!

The water park was a break from the action and a perfect spot for cooling off. While we also did some other rides and played games, the above were the ones that made the trip to Santa’s Village a great experience and memory.
Santa’s Village is open every day. They are in East Dundee at 601 Dundee Avenue 847-426-6751 www.santasvillagedundee.com for more info and to purchase your tickets to your own memories.
