Here we are, the end of July, and with perfect weather, Jane and I went down to visit the Randolph Street Market Festival in the West loop. Known as “Chicago’s beloved vintage treasure hunt”, after being absent during the pandemic, they are back. Touted as a “mecca of cool” this European flea market will allow you to search through the different venders for antiques, artwork, jewelry, clothing ( vintage and new), and enjoy food, live entertainment and even some fun cocktails.
Attendees of all ages can shop Vintage Chanel, scout the perfect work of art to fill that blank wall in whatever room has a blank wall and find that rare antique bar set to complete their rec-room.
Food from local area food trucks and caterers will be available so once you enter the Treasure area, you can have it all.
This is a two day event- July 30th and 31st from 10 am-5 p.m.
1341 West Randolph Street
Visit www.randolphstreetmarket.com for more info.
We enjoyed our morning by dining on Millie’s Waffles, with different flavors including a smaller cinnamon waffle ( delicious).
