If you are a Chicago area resident and own a TV set, the odds are you have watched Janet Davies along the way. For many years she was a major part of the team at WLS-TV ( ABC). For many years, when I attended the openings of Broadway In Chicago shows, I would be seated in her vicinity ( often she brought her son) and those who know me, know that n openings I hand out Sunkist Fruit Gems- they were always recipients ( and I know that they loved them). Part of what she did for all those years ( while never aging) was cover the entertainment scene, and so it seems right that since like me, she is not ready to retire, she bring to Chicago a new podcast-“Broadway and Beyond with Janet Davies”.
Here she will cover the entertainment scene as it is happening and I will have her on my radio show on Sunday, December 19th WCPT820 from 2-3 p.m. to fill you in.
