Haunted houses come to Chicago

For the second year Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group has brought their Halloween experiences to Chicago. There are two experiences waiting to shock and scare you.

The first if 13th floor Haunted House, located in Schiller Park at 5050 N. River Road ( I think this may have been a commercial building or Motel back in the day). It is open thru November 5th- check schedule and ticket info at 13thfloorchicago.com

For those who have attended before, they have added a few attractions this year- Outcast carnival: after a failed carnival went bankrupt, the sideshow performers, shunned by society took to the underground for shelter. They are now looking at finding food from those who dare to tread where they should not. The other attraction: A;; Hallows Eve is a group of undead trick or treaters in search of blood, guts and candy! WOW!

You can also partake of escape games and indulge in on site local food trucks as well as imbibe on some great adult beverages.

The other attraction is The Old Joliet Sate Prison which has its own stories to be told. Remember this is indeed an actual prison where for many decades actual prisoners lived, slept, dined and did everything!

The Abominations- tragic beings hungry for companionship and living flesh! and Tormented: these are condemned who seek to lure others into their eternal suffering as revenge. No one can escape their phantom grasp as they dwell in the afterlife- try if you dare!!!!
