Restaurateurs with a long history of serving customers in Lake County has brought a new eatery to downtown Mundelein!

Tina and Phil Gilardi, longtime Mundelein residents, have opened  TIna G’s at the northeast corner of Route 45 and Park Street for their new endeavor.

Tina G’s has breakfast, lunch and dinner menus with “outside the box” dishes that are more upscale, and the menu has many of the items we grew to love at Philly G’s, a place that our family loved.

They also  have video gambling machines that are accessible from inside the restaurant. There is a lounge with a bar that has room for about 30 patrons. The main restaurant area has seating for about 50 people. That includes a private dining area with space for about 10 people. We dined there for my birthday over the week-end and truly enjoyed the intimacy of the space. We noticed several special items that we have not partaken of in the past, so we may follow-up with a full review of the new menu very soon.
